Job Description:
As an Auto Body Technician at Body By Moose, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodies to their original condition. You will work on a variety of vehicles, ensuring that each one meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles for damage and identify necessary repairs.
- Perform repairs on vehicle bodies, including welding, metalwork, and frame straightening.
- Sand, fill, and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting.
- Apply primers and repaint vehicles using spray guns and other equipment.
- Replace damaged parts with new or repaired components.
- Ensure all repairs meet industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in auto body repair or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to auto body repair and painting.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
